Who we are

BarndosOnly is reimagining how people live, work, and build—starting with barndominiums across Idaho. A “barndo” is more than just a steel-framed structure. It’s a dual-purpose home: housing on top, venture down below. What we try to do is build barndos only for the purpose of social repair. Think apartment or Airbnb upstairs, and a garage, workshop, studio, or startup space underneath. It’s a modular way to live where you build—and build where you live.

Our first Barndo is under construction in Idaho and will serve as the headquarters of the Barndos Foundation. It’s just the beginning. We’ve secured land leases and are in active talks to launch more sites soon. We help:

  • Help local builders and founders launch ventures

  • Offer job placement and hands-on experience to young people

  • Provide tools, mentorship, and funding to people with ideas and initiative

Barndos are physical launchpads for economic mobility. A Barndo can become a small business, a studio, a side hustle, a family project, or a legacy.
